The Mothers of Utah for the Children of Russia foundation wanted to promote their Window of Hope Benefit Performance with a message that would strike at the heart strings and inspire people
with a desire to help the suffering children in Russia.
The effect was achieved by using a photograph a child gazing despondently out of a Russian
orphanage window. The image was used in this poster, as well as advertising, and the program for the event.
